Award-winning author Lawrence Gooley will join us for an evening of spell-binding stories of escape attempts from the North Country's most notorious prison, Clinton Correctional. His new book, Escape from Dannemora, was in progress when two hardened criminals made their jail break in 2015. The effort to capture them gripped the region and the nation for nearly a month. As you will learn through Lawrence Gooley's historical research, they were hardly the first to make a break from the big house.
