How often do you get to meet a film composer? What's more, when was the last time that you had a chance to meet the composer for a silent movie or to see a silent movie on the big screen?
ILT is proud to announce that we will be hosting a showing of Composer Beth Custer's original soundtrack and the film that goes with it, My Grandmother. This 1929 silent movie was directed by Soviet Georgian director Kote Mikaberidze. This is early eccentric anarchic Soviet cinema at its best.
Beth Custer will join us for this event which will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 2:00 pm. To learn more about Beth's work and this film check out http://bethcuster.com/ensembles/my-grandmother/
