Director Brandon Kramer will be on hand to share his documentary film, City of Trees. This film tells the story of an effort in Washington, DC to reduce violence and poverty in urban neighborhoods by creating green jobs and improving local parks. This is a deeply personal story about the struggle for good jobs and environmental justice in an American city.
Brandon Kramer is currently in residence at the Blue Mountain Center. This Meet the Filmmaker program is offered in collaboration with the Blue Mountain Center and the Hamilton County Historian through a National Endowment for the Humanities grant.
Admission to this Meet the Filmmaker session is free to all. We hope the film will spark conversation about the care of our park and communities in Hamilton County.
