Leave No Trace

Our Moose Fest weekend film is PG-rated . Given a rare 100% rating by the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer, it is also a film  that the NY Times has called one of the best of the year. Leave No Trace is the story of Will (Ben Foster) and his teenage daughter, Tom (Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie), have lived off the grid for years in the forests of Portland, Oregon. When their idyllic life is shattered, both are put into social services. After clashing with their new surroundings, Will and Tom set off on a harrowing journey back to their wild homeland. The film is directed by Debra Granik from a script adapted by Granik and Anne Rossellini.  109 minutes.  Tickets $7 for adults, $5 for those 18 and under.

This film is the ninth in our Fantastic Films project.  This project is sponsored, in part, with funds from the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature.
