The Indian Lake Theater is presenting a pair of fun, community-based events to bring friends and neighbors together to enjoy local photography — on the big screen. Our goal is to provide a forum for aspiring photographers within our community to exhibit their work -- seniors citizens, students and everyone in between. Join us! Tell a friend!

Thanks to everyone who came to the first night of our Photo Festival. Over 70 people were treated to great photos and a wonderful presentation by Bill Killon. Thanks, Bill, for taking the time to speak so thoughtfully about the work of our local photographers. We were thrilled by the turn-out and look forward to hearing your feedback about how we can make the next show even better.

Next up, a night dedicated to photographs of PEOPLE on Tuesday November 17 at 7:30 PM. This show will be curated by Dr. Daniel Way, whose moving book, All in a Day’s Work, documents the lives of his Adirondack patients. All photographs of people are welcome —portraits, groups, action shots, you name it!

This night will follow a similar format to the first show, and will conclude with Dr. Way’s photos, a Q & A session, and an encore slide presentation of all the submitted work.

The Submission Deadline for PEOPLE is November 3.

• Everyone is invited to digitally submit up to 5 photos for each show.
• Applicants will be notified one week before the show that their work has been chosen to be in the show
