A group of community members have organized to save and reopen the Indian Lake Theater. We are making the theater a non-profit multi-purpose community center, a space for the same great movies that have been showing for years – plus community theater, concerts, and other special events.

We look forward to working with the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, providing them with a terrific conert space right in the heart of Indian Lake. We want to be involved with the library and their wonderful “Book Club & a Movie” series. We can’t wait to host the return of the Cabin Fever Players – and more terrific musicals like Hello Dolly and the Wizard of Oz.

We think that the theater can be a driving engine for the economic future of Indian Lake. A thriving theater will provide wholesome fun for our children, families, and summer guests. An upcoming “Dinner and a Movie” film series will help support local restaurants. We would love the theater to be a central spot for community days – from the Antique Fair to the Country Christmas Tour.

We are in the middle of an aggressive fund raising campaign to purchase the theater and get it under sound footing so that it can be an anchor to the economic livelihood and cultural wealth of Indian Lake and the surrounding communities.

We need your help. Please contact our organizing committee today: info@indianlaketheater.org or donate directly.
